研究概要
-
現代数学の重大なテーマに、L函数、あるいはゼータ函数と呼ばれる函数の研究があります。例えば、リーマンゼータ函数は最も有名なL函数であり、素数の分布という捉え所の無い問題の解明に、リーマンゼータ函数の零点の情報が決め手になることが知られています。他にも多様な数学的対象に関してL函数が考えられ、それらのL函数を研究することで、直接調べることのできない対象の深淵な性質が導かれることがあります。学位論文を書いていた頃にL函数にのめり込んで以来、これまでL函数を主に解析的手法を用いて研究してきました。しかし、L函数の研究は膨大な分野に広がっています。L函数を代数的、幾何的、p進的手法も駆使してあらゆる側面から研究することで、L函数論の新しい側面を切り開くことを目指します。
