2000年より音楽療法の研究・実践を開始、2007年神戸大学で博士号取得後、同大学研究員、2017年より大阪市立大学都市研究プラザテニュアトラック特任准教授、2020年より同大学文学部准教授。 即興音楽療法に関する研究をスタートしたが、社会に開かれた音楽活動の必要性を感じ、2005年より知的障害者と音楽家、音楽療法家が新しい音楽表現の地平の開拓を目的に活動する「音遊びの会」主宰（〜2017年）、2014年よりおとあそび工房（〜2021年）を主宰する。音、からだ、ことばを使って様々な人々との対話を繰り返しながら思考する実践を、臨床音楽学研究として進めている。 ・音遊びの会：http://otoasobi.main.jp/ ・おとあそび工房：http://otoasobikobo.hatenablog.com/
