  • 私は建築設備や環境工学分野に軸足をおき,都市の熱環境実測調査および改善提案や,民生用エネルギー消費量調査および省エネルギー対策提案などを研究テーマとしています.
    都市のヒートアイランド現象の実態把握に関する研究では,大阪平野の気温データを統計的に分析し全体的な特徴を把握すると同時に,大阪市や交野市などで海風や冷気流の調査をおこない,発生頻度や周辺気温への影響度合いを分析しています.熱環境改善策に関する調査研究では,気温分布や緑被分布の空間的自己相関関係や連続性などの分析をおこない,緑や風を活かした街づくりへの提案をおこなっています.
    また,業務施設の空調用エネルギー消費の削減や,宿泊施設の給湯用エネルギー消費の削減に対して,設備システムの提案をおこない,シミュレーションによりその省エネルギー効果を検証するといった研究にも取り組んでいます.

    <p>A verification experiment at a tram stop was conducted to evaluate the effect of mist spray as measure of heart from physiological and psychological responses. In the experiment, the environmental monitoring at 3 points: in the sun, under the tent and under the mist sprayer with a fan, was conducted and physiological and psychological quantity of subjects were measured. As the result of experiment, there is a stronger correlation between thermal sensation and skin temperature of the upper arm than the mean skin temperature, because effects of decreasing skin temperature by the mist sprayer with a fan is seen on the upper body. </p>

    &nbsp;The urban heat island (UHI) phenomenon has been more accelerated and the outdoor air temperature (OT) has become higher. Such OT rise is posing an increase in electricity consumption (EC) for air conditioning. Nowadays, the UHI countermeasure such as green roofs is developed and installed in order to decrease OT and reduce energy consumption for air conditioning. However, the countermeasure can bring adverse effects on the society. For example, green roof increases outdoor air humidity. It can increase EC for air conditioning through lowered efficiency of air conditioners due to dew condensation. Therefore, we need to understand a quantitative relationship between the energy consumption and the meteorological elements such as OT and air humidity throughout the year for reasonable installation of the UHI countermeasures. Thus, we aimed at quantifying sensitivities of EC to meteorological elements in city-block scale, which are residential and business districts. Moreover, we compare previous studies which analyzed sensitivities of EC to OT before the Grate East Japan Earthquake because some studies reported the relationship between EC and OT was changed due to this earthquake.<br>&nbsp;Two apartment residential, one detached residential, and two business districts in Osaka city, which is the second largest city of Japan, were chosen as the target districts in this study. The district sizes are 1 to 3 km<sup>2</sup>. We installed meteorological instruments to the rooftops of five primary schools in the five target district so that we measured the meteorological data which are OT, and relative humidity from April 2013 to March 2014. We also obtained hourly electricity consumption data in the target districts. Then, we calculated the sensitivities of EC to OT and specific humidity (SH) using the multiple regression (hockey stick regression) analysis. We analyzed branch points and sensitivities of summer OT and SH during only summer.<br>&nbsp;Our analysis showed that the branch points of summer OT in the business districts were 7&deg;C lower than those in the residential districts. It is suggested that occupants and appliances in the business districts lead to the air conditioning demand. The branch points of winter OT in the business district were similar to that in the residential districts. In the residential districts, the sensitivities of EC to summer OT in early morning is the smallest and that at night is the largest during a day. The sensitivities of summer SH were the similar tendency of those of summer OT because dehumidification on the fan coils in the air conditioner occurs and leads to EC.<br>&nbsp;We compared our results with the previous studies' results before the Great East Japan Earthquake (March 11, 2011). Sensitivities of EC to winter OT in our result were similar to those in the previous studies, however, those to summer OT in our analysis were 50-60% smaller than those in the previous studies. People is considered to conserve electricity in summer by not introduction of energy-saving appliances but change in their behaviors.

    Temperature spatial variability in an urbanized area, 1.5km square, near the center of Osaka city was observed in summer 2008. Temperature data were collected by observation stations located in 10 parks and by a vehicle equipped with a mobile measurement system. As a result of geostatistical analysis using semivariogram, spatial dependence of temperature in the daytime, when wind from Osaka bay, is higher than at other times. This means that correlation between temperature data collected at adjacent points while there was sea breeze was higher than at times without a sea breeze. Spatial representation of the temperature data on the day with a sea breeze was 100m in the daytime and 200m in the early morning.

    In this study, we conducted the investigation into the surroundings of the meteorological observing stations (AMeDAS, Local or District Meteorologeical Observatory, Air Pollution Monitoring Network System) to evaluate concerning for what a observing station should be for monitoring urban thermal environment around Keihanshin district. As a result, we could grasp the detailed situation (land cover, barriers and so on) around the targeted obserivng stations and evaluated concerning the characteristics of each observing stations. And we made a knowledge database of these results temperature.

    Various pavement surfaces to mitigate the urban heat island are suggested. In this study, thermal characteristics of pavements for urban heat island measures are examined from the observation and analysis of surface heat budget. Net radiation, surface temperature, temperature under the surface, conduction heat flux, the weight of cores in each experimental surface and weather condition are observed. Evaporative flux is estimated from the observation results of the weight of cores. The surface heat budget under the same weather condition is examined, and sensible heat fluxes from each object surface are calculated. The parameters having the influence on surface heat budget, for example, solar reflectance (albedo), evaporative efficiency, heat conductivity, heat capacity, are examined.

    In recent years, many glass walls came to be used for building surfaces. In the radiant environment of a street canyon, if glass walls increases, the diffuse reflection component of the solar radiation will decrease and the specular reflection component will increase. Therefore, in this study, the influence of glass walls on the radiant environment of the sidewalk space in a north-south street canyon was analyzed under the weather condition of the daytime of a summer season using the numerical simulation. Building facade was constituted from glass walls and concrete walls, the case study on the facade model of six types was performed, and the following results were obtained about influence on solar-radiation reflection. 1) By the difference between models, the temperature difference occurred 6K in the mean radiant temperature (MRT) in sidewalk space at the daily maximum time. 2) The MRT of sidewalk space is increased in the model which has diffuse reflection walls in the part of building facade near the sidewalk. 3) As mentioned above, it was shown that the reflective property of facade influences greatly to the thermal environment of sidewalk space.

    Detail description:地域の物理的環境を把握することは,居住環境改善の第一歩である.環境計測機材を持参して計測をおこない,省エネルギーや快適性の向上につながるような改善案を検討する.地域住民,都市計画分野の研究者,行政などとの共同作業が必要.
