    毒性金属に耐性で、それを吸収する酵母株が発見されているので、アルミニウムに耐性で、アルミニウムを吸収する酵母株の同定を試みた。酵母を土壌検体から単離し、Saccharomyces cerevisiae BY4741に対する毒性濃度(5mM)のアルミニウムを含有する培地で培養した。アルミニウム耐性株からアルミニウム吸収株として2株(Alt-OF2、Alt-OF5)が同定された。D1/D2シーケンシングにより、この2株はSchizoblastosporion(異名Nadsonia)属に属することが判明した。
