Research Career

  • 膀胱や消化管の上皮は膨張するとATPを分泌して伸展感覚を中枢神経に伝達し、尿意や便意、内蔵痛の発生に寄与している。このATP分泌機構を調節するシグナル経路やATP分泌に対する運動の効果を解明することで、尿路系・消化器系の内臓感覚の異常(頻尿・便通異常・排泄痛)を改善する可能性を検討する。

  • 成熟期の神経系でもシナプスは刺激に応じて新生と消失を活発に繰り返している。我々が海馬で発見したシナプス新生を促進するシグナル系を活性化することで神経機能の再建を効率的に促進できるかどうかを検討し、シナプス新生の促進を利用した運動機能および高次脳機能の新たな機能回復法を確立することを目指す。
