    目的 独立行政法人日本学生支援機構の委託事業の一環として、2017年12月に兵庫県内で、産官学連携による「留学生・在住外国人と日本人学生・日本人がともに学ぶ防災ワークショップ(以下、ワークショップ)」を開催し、避難所における災害時の健康被害の予防および生活の維持を軸にした避難所体験を企画した。日本在留外国人の防災教育における課題と備えの支援の検討につながる資料とすることを目的とし、参加者に質問紙調査を行ったため報告する。方法 ワークショップの参加者に、避難所における健康問題に関する知識の有無、避難所内での健康相談を体験した感想などについて質問紙で回答を得た。結果 ワークショップ参加者48名中25名(外国籍14、日本国籍11)から回答が得られた。回答者の約半数が、避難所における心身の健康問題をワークショップに参加したことで知ったと答えた。回答者の48%が避難所における健康相談の体験をし、そのうち外国籍者は相談時の困難性として「言葉やコミュニケーション」「日本の医療や医療用語の理解のなさ」を挙げた。また体験者は「避難所に看護職がいることを知ることができた」「自分の健康状態を知ることができた」など、日本の災害時の避難所における医療体制や疾患に対する知識を得たほか、「安心する」「不安が解決できる」という感覚を持つことができた。避難所での健康維持のために必要な支援について、外国籍参加者からは、薬・衛生環境や基本的な生活資源などの物的支援、身体面精神面のサポート、情報提供と共有に関するニーズが挙げられた。考察 日本在留外国人に対し、災害後の中長期的な避難生活を想定した訓練の実績はなかったが、本ワークショップは多領域の専門家を含む産官学連携による開催であり、外国人の災害時の生活健康課題に対し網羅的に内容を検討することができた。レクチャーや避難所での生活体験を通した平時との生活の変化や健康面への影響の理解および、健康相談の体験を通した言語面や自身の健康状態への課題の発見が、災害時を想定した具体的な支援ニーズをもたらしたものと考える。外国人は言語面の不安から相談を躊躇する傾向があり、不安を軽減するため避難所における支援体制や診療体制を明確にして提示すること、使用頻度の多い医療用語や病名・症状、および健康指導内容などは多言語化しておく必要がある。(著者抄録)

    <p>There are two types of non-finite forms of verbs in the durative aspect in Japanese, namely, <i>shiteite</i> and <i>shiteori</i>. These are marked forms as opposed to the <i>shite</i> and <i>shi</i> form respectively. This paper examines the grammatical properties of these two similar forms by investigating examples of usage in texts.</p><p> Both these forms indicate the simultaneity of two or more events in mutual relation with the aspect of a finite verbal predicate to which non-finite forms are subordinate.</p><p> There is a certain sentence pattern in which only the <i>shiteite</i> form can be used. The syntactic features of this type of sentence are as follows: the finite predicate has a perfective aspect, the subject of two verbs is the same, and the <i>shiteite</i> form indicates an action or state as a situation where the main event occurs incidentally (but is not defined as a conditional meaning).</p><p> This fact suggests that the two forms have distinguishable functions as a component of a sentence. The <i>shiteori</i> form is used more frequently to express the paratactic relation of two events as a second verbal predicate. The <i>shiteite</i> form is used to express a subsidiary relation to the finite verbal predicate, indicating a subordinate event circumstantial to the occurrence of the main event, although it can also be used in a paratactic structure.</p><p> This subsidiary function of the <i>shiteite</i> form in a sentence is different from that of the <i>shite</i> form, which is a more basic form of the non-finite forms of verbs. The <i>shite</i> form can be used to modify the main event by indicating the manner of action, losing its aspectual meaning as an independent event; however, the <i>shiteite</i> form cannot play this role because it has an independent aspectual meaning, although both <i>shiteite</i> and <i>shite</i> act as a subsidiary component in the sentence.</p>
